Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and local priorities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Coordinate cross-departmental health initiatives and community partnerships
- Prepare comprehensive health impact assessments for city projects
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal requirements
- Present findings to public officials and community stakeholders
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- PH certification or equivalent preferred
