Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize community interventions
- Develop and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and policymakers
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships to enhance health service accessibility
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance and measurable outcomes
- Lead community outreach initiatives promoting preventive health measures
- Monitor policy implementation and recommend evidence-based improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management or data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping tools
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Experience with federal/state grant reporting requirements
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation highly desirable
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of Florida's public health regulations and initiatives
