Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data using statistical software (e.g., SAS, R) to identify disease patterns and health disparities
- Develop comprehensive health intervention strategies aligned with CDC guidelines and local needs
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders including city officials and community partners
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement public health programs and emergency response initiatives
- Monitor compliance with local health regulations and recommend policy improvements
- Engage with diverse communities to ensure culturally competent health messaging
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis and program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Demonstrated experience with health surveillance systems and data visualization
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and ethical data handling practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical data
- Experience collaborating with government agencies and community organizations
