Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Develop public health program strategies and evaluate their effectiveness
- Prepare comprehensive reports for policymakers and community stakeholders
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance and measurable outcomes
- Participate in emergency response planning and public health surveillance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal public health regulations
- Strong written communication skills for policy briefs and reports
- Ability to obtain and maintain a City of San Diego security clearance
