Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and emerging threats
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state and local health initiatives
- Coordinate with community stakeholders to implement public health interventions
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting underserved populations
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health emergencies
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of public health program experience
- Advanced statistical analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- California state government clearance eligibility
- Experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
- Valid California driver's license
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health data regulations
