Responsibilities
- Analyze population health data to identify trends and inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and implement public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable communities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate emergency response and disease surveillance
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders including county officials and community partners
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Conduct community needs assessments and program evaluations
- Advise on regulatory compliance and public health emergency protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or research
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and local health regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
