Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform public health interventions
- Develop and implement community health outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on health emergency preparedness
- Prepare detailed reports on health metrics for city leadership and grant applications
- Manage public health databases and ensure compliance with reporting standards
- Coordinate vaccination campaigns and health education workshops
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health analysis or government healthcare
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and health data systems
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel within El Paso County
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and public health reporting protocols
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state program administration
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation highly desirable
