Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop and implement community health assessment programs
- Collaborate with local health departments and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and public dissemination
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives
- Conduct health equity analyses across diverse populations
- Participate in emergency response preparedness planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health or data analysis experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or SPSS)
- Experience with health data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Colorado public health regulations
- Valid Colorado driver's license
