Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and health disparities in Miami-Dade County
- Develop and implement community health assessment reports and strategic action plans
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies to address public health priorities
- Design and evaluate health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and written reports
- Stay current on public health policies, regulations, and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program evaluation
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health surveillance methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to travel to community sites
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
