Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to identify public health priorities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive health surveillance systems
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
- Coordinate community health initiatives and outreach programs
- Conduct program evaluations and recommend evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with state and local health agencies on joint projects
- Assist in emergency preparedness and response planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health analysis or epidemiology
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Strong knowledge of public health principles and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse community stakeholders
- Valid California driver's license
- Experience with grant writing and program management
