Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify disease trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Develop public health reports and presentations for county leadership and community stakeholders
- Coordinate emergency response plans for health crises including infectious disease outbreaks
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to implement community health initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects related to public health education and prevention
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health data analysis or program coordination
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of NC public health regulations and emergency response protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Valid NC driver's license and reliable transportation
