Responsibilities
- Coordinate community health outreach programs and vaccination clinics
- Collect and maintain accurate public health data and case records
- Provide health education materials and referrals to community resources
- Support emergency preparedness initiatives and response coordination
- Assist in conducting epidemiological investigations and surveillance activities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Perform administrative duties including scheduling, reporting, and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Public Health or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in community health or social services
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with diverse populations
- Proficiency in data entry and basic office software (MS Office Suite)
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for outreach events
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly desirable
