Responsibilities

- Investigate public health complaints and issue violation notices

- Maintain detailed compliance records and databases
- Participate in emergency response coordination during public health crises
- Train staff on updated health regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Environmental Health, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of regulatory compliance experience
- Valid California Environmental Health Specialist registration
- Strong knowledge of California Health & Safety Code
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Certification in food safety management preferred
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
