Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health education campaigns
- Coordinate disease prevention programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze health data to identify emerging public health threats
- Liaise between state agencies and local healthcare providers
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and reporting
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare comprehensive public health impact assessments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years public health program coordination experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant management and compliance
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
