Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency operations during health emergencies (e.g., disease outbreaks, natural disasters)
- Conduct community outreach and public education campaigns on emergency preparedness
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Manage resource allocation and logistics during emergency response activations
- Train city staff and community partners on emergency protocols and procedures
- Prepare detailed reports for city leadership and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Strong knowledge of FEMA/NIMS protocols and public health emergency frameworks
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under high-pressure conditions
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders (public, government, media)
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., GIS, Tableau) and emergency management software
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to work irregular hours during emergencies
