Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for infectious disease outbreaks and public health crises
- Lead community vaccination campaigns and health education initiatives
- Collaborate with hospitals, EMS, and community organizations during emergencies
- Develop and maintain public health emergency preparedness plans
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform response strategies
- Manage grant-funded public health emergency programs
- Train frontline workers in crisis communication protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years public health emergency response experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Experience with health data analysis using Epi-Info or similar tools
- Strong crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work 24/7 during public health emergencies
