Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response operations during outbreaks
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform emergency action plans
- Train public health staff on emergency response procedures
- Manage grant-funded emergency preparedness projects
- Communicate risk assessments to community stakeholders
- Conduct post-emergency response evaluations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of public health emergency response experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Experience with LA County public health systems preferred
- Strong data analysis and crisis communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergencies
- Valid California driver's license
- Pass background check and fingerprinting
