Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises including pandemics and natural disasters
- Liaise with federal/state agencies and healthcare providers to align response strategies
- Develop and maintain emergency operation plans with measurable KPIs
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform resource allocation and intervention strategies
- Train public health staff on emergency response procedures and compliance standards
- Manage grant-funded projects related to emergency preparedness and response
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Demonstrated crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of FEMA/NIMS protocols and Ohio public health regulations
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
