Responsibilities
- Lead rapid response coordination for public health emergencies including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Develop and execute emergency preparedness plans for Detroit's diverse communities
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers, law enforcement, and federal agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform crisis mitigation strategies
- Train frontline responders and community health workers
- Manage crisis communication protocols for public alerts and stakeholder briefings

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of crisis response or public health emergency experience
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Proven ability to coordinate multi-agency responses under pressure
- Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Epi-Info or Tableau
- Strong familiarity with Michigan public health infrastructure
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record
