Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols for natural disasters and pandemics
- Lead community outreach initiatives to ensure equitable access to health resources
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic response decisions
- Train public health staff on emergency procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local partners on unified response strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting emergency infrastructure
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Proven ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines
- Expertise in data analysis using public health surveillance tools
- Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Fluency in English and Spanish (highly desirable)
