Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response including hospitals, EMS, and community organizations
- Lead public health surveillance systems and data analysis during emergencies
- Train and deploy emergency response teams across Marion County
- Manage public communication strategies during health crises
- Oversee resource allocation and distribution in emergency situations
- Conduct post-incident reviews and update response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or emergency response
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent preferred
- Expertise in crisis communication and multi-agency coordination
- Strong data analysis and decision-making skills under pressure
- Valid Indiana driver's license and ability to work irregular hours
- Experience with NIMS/ICS frameworks
