Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response plans for public health crises including infectious disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Liaise with hospitals, clinics, and community organizations to align resources and messaging
- Develop and execute equity-focused vaccination/testing distribution campaigns
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations and resource allocation
- Train frontline staff on crisis communication protocols and PPE procedures
- Prepare federal/state compliance reports and grant documentation
- Lead community outreach initiatives in underserved neighborhoods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis coordination
- Proficiency with health data platforms (e.g., EMR, GIS mapping)
- Valid Indiana driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (FEMA, CDC)
- Spanish fluency or bilingual communication skills required
- Demonstrated commitment to health equity and cultural competency
