Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response plans for public health crises including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Liaise with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure unified crisis communication
- Develop and execute community outreach programs for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic interventions
- Manage volunteer deployment and resource allocation during emergencies
- Conduct public briefings and media communications
- Train staff on emergency protocols and response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Demonstrated crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Ability to work extended hours during emergencies
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Spanish bilingual preferred
