Responsibilities
- Coordinate county-wide public health emergency responses including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Develop and maintain emergency preparedness protocols and communication systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and state agencies
- Analyze health data to identify emerging threats and implement mitigation strategies
- Train staff and community partners on emergency response procedures
- Manage grant-funded projects related to public health resilience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health or emergency response coordination
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS) or equivalent emergency management certification
- Proven experience developing emergency response plans and protocols
- Strong data analysis and report writing abilities
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills
- Valid Oregon driver's license
