Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster drills and tabletop exercises quarterly
- Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreak trajectories and resource needs
- Train 500+ healthcare workers annually on emergency response procedures
- Manage federal grant funding ($2M+) for emergency preparedness infrastructure
- Lead incident command center operations during declared emergencies
- Conduct post-event evaluations to improve response protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential required
- Expertise in NIMS/ICS frameworks and HSEEP protocols
- Proficiency in ESRI GIS and public health surveillance systems
- Demonstrated success leading multi-jurisdictional response teams
- Strong knowledge of Indiana public health statutes and FEMA regulations
