Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide emergency response plans for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response protocols with FEMA and state health departments
- Lead COVID-19 testing/vaccination surge operations and mass dispensing site management
- Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreak trajectories and allocate resources
- Train 200+ public health workers in emergency response protocols
- Manage $500k+ annual emergency preparedness grant budgets
- Conduct community risk assessments for vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Master's in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (required)
- 3+ years crisis response experience in government/nonprofit setting
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent designation
- Advanced epidemiological data analysis skills (Tableau/SPSS)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure
- Knowledge of NIMS/ICS frameworks and FEMA grant compliance
- Experience with mass vaccination/testing logistics planning
- Valid Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation
