Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and execute crisis communication strategies for diverse stakeholders
- Monitor epidemiological data to inform resource allocation and intervention priorities
- Train personnel on emergency response protocols and PPE utilization
- Manage logistics for vaccine distribution and medical supply chains
- Conduct post-incident analysis and recommend policy improvements
- Ensure compliance with federal/state emergency management regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years crisis coordination experience in government or healthcare
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and emergency management software
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure
- Experience with federal grant reporting (e.g., FEMA, CDC)
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during declared emergencies
