Responsibilities
- Develop and implement emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate multi-agency disaster response operations with FEMA, state health department, and local hospitals
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats
- Lead community vaccination and testing initiatives during outbreaks
- Train frontline healthcare workers on emergency response procedures
- Manage grant-funded emergency preparedness projects
- Prepare public health emergency declarations and policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and health data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant reporting (FEMA, CDC)
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during declared emergencies
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean record
