Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency response operations for public health crises
- Develop and implement pandemic preparedness protocols
- Collaborate with federal/state health agencies for resource allocation
- Lead community education campaigns on emergency preparedness
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform response strategies
- Manage public health emergency supply chains
- Train healthcare personnel in crisis response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years emergency management or public health experience
- Valid Ohio Public Health Emergency Response certification
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with federal emergency frameworks (NIMS/ICS)
- Strong grant writing and budget management abilities
- Ability to work 24/7 during public health emergencies
