Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response protocols for public health incidents
- Lead community vaccination clinics and mass distribution events
- Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreak trajectories
- Develop crisis communication strategies for diverse audiences
- Manage grant-funded emergency preparedness programs
- Train local health department personnel on emergency protocols
- Collaborate with FEMA and CDC on interstate response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300)
- Proficiency in ESRI GIS mapping software
- Experience with OHIO public health reporting systems
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work 24/7 rotations during crises
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
