Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement community-wide vaccination campaigns within 72-hour activation windows
- Analyze epidemiological data to predict outbreak trajectories and allocate resources
- Train 500+ frontline responders annually in decontamination and quarantine protocols
- Collaborate with CDC and FEMA on interstate emergency management drills
- Manage $2M+ annual emergency response budgets with strict compliance oversight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology (MPH required)
- 3+ years of field experience in crisis response or disaster medicine
- Active Texas Emergency Management Certification (TEMC)
- Advanced proficiency in ESRI GIS and statistical modeling software
- Bilingual fluency in English/Spanish (demonstrated via OPI assessment)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
