Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement community education campaigns for disaster preparedness
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic resource allocation
- Lead inter-departmental task forces for rapid policy development
- Manage field operations during public health emergencies
- Conduct risk assessments for vulnerable populations
- Prepare and maintain emergency response protocols
- Collaborate with federal/state health agencies for compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health emergency response
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent designation
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and visualization
- Proven crisis communication skills with diverse communities
- Experience with FEMA/NIMS protocols and grant management
- Ability to work 24/7 during declared emergencies
- Valid California driver's license
