Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness protocols for local/state/federal alignment
- Lead public communication strategies during health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform rapid response decisions
- Manage resource allocation and logistics for emergency deployments
- Train community partners on public health emergency procedures
- Prepare compliance reports for state and federal health agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years crisis response experience in government/public health sector
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Demonstrated experience with federal/state/local emergency coordination
- Advanced knowledge of public health emergency protocols
- Exceptional crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during emergency activations
