Responsibilities
- Lead rapid-response coordination during public health crises including disease outbreaks and natural disasters
- Develop and maintain emergency response protocols for high-impact scenarios
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers and community organizations for unified crisis management
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform strategic resource allocation and public messaging
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement continuous improvement measures
- Train public health staff on emergency response procedures and compliance standards
- Prepare detailed reports for state policymakers and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in public health emergency response or crisis management
- Certification in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or equivalent
- Expertise in epidemiological data analysis and public health surveillance
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Public Health Code and FEMA guidelines
- Exceptional crisis communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive information access
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean record
