Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement crisis communication strategies for diverse communities
- Conduct rapid needs assessments for vulnerable populations during emergencies
- Manage logistics for emergency medical supplies and vaccination campaigns
- Collaborate with FEMA, CDC, and state health departments on compliance protocols
- Analyze incident data to improve future response frameworks
- Train city staff on emergency preparedness procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 3+ years of crisis response or public health emergency experience
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS-300) or higher
- Proven ability to lead under extreme pressure with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of CA public health emergency regulations
- Experience with GIS mapping for resource deployment
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
- Valid California driver's license
