Responsibilities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and contact tracing for disease outbreaks
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and emerging threats
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Develop and implement intervention strategies
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations
- Testify at public health hearings and legal proceedings
- Train frontline healthcare workers on protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health investigation experience
- Certified in Emergency Response Operations
- Strong data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Experience with disease surveillance systems
- Ability to work flexible hours during outbreaks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
