Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid contact tracing and outbreak investigations for reportable diseases
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data using state surveillance systems
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community partners to contain disease spread
- Develop culturally responsive communication strategies for diverse populations
- Document investigations according to DOH protocols and HIPAA requirements
- Participate in 24/7 rotational emergency response coverage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in contact tracing or health investigations
- Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, REDCap, or similar)
- Certified in Crisis Communication and Cultural Competency
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Spanish bilingual preferred
