Responsibilities
- Conduct disease surveillance, outbreak investigations, and contact tracing for communicable diseases
- Administer immunizations and provide health education to underserved populations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crisis management
- Develop and implement community health outreach programs targeting vulnerable groups
- Collect and analyze epidemiological data to inform public health interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations on health initiatives
- Provide clinical services in schools, clinics, and community settings
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (required)
- Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) or Public Health (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience with public health focus
- Experience in epidemiology, immunization programs, or emergency response
- Certification in Public Health Nursing (PHN) or equivalent
- Strong data analysis and health informatics skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
