Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted public health education campaigns for underserved populations in Mesa
- Coordinate with community partners, schools, and healthcare providers to expand health access
- Analyze local health data to identify emerging public health priorities and gaps
- Facilitate workshops on preventive care, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Manage grant-funded outreach projects and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Create culturally sensitive health materials in multiple languages
- Track program metrics and prepare impact reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience in community health outreach program coordination
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, Excel, Tableau)
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish required)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of local health resources and community organizations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for community events
