Responsibilities
- Research and analyze public health trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive health strategies for underserved Fort Worth communities
- Collaborate with state agencies to implement evidence-based interventions
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed
- Lead community outreach programs to gather stakeholder feedback
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives for public health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy development or administration
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience working with government agencies and community stakeholders
- Knowledge of Texas public health regulations and systems
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
