Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to inform policy development and program evaluation
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for city officials and community stakeholders
- Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives addressing health disparities and social determinants of health
- Lead community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement processes
- Monitor federal/state health policy changes and assess local implications
- Manage grant-funded projects related to public health innovation
- Present findings to public officials and community groups through compelling visual reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in health policy analysis or government/public health roles
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software
- Demonstrated experience with community-based participatory research methods
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts public health systems and regulations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with policy audiences
- Experience managing federal/state grants and compliance requirements
