Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform public health policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop health intervention strategies
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for government leadership review
- Monitor federal/state health regulations and ensure compliance
- Conduct community needs assessments and impact evaluations
- Present findings to public health advisory boards
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare
- Strong statistical analysis and data interpretation skills
- Experience with public health surveillance systems (e.g., NEDSS, WISQARS)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Kentucky residency required upon hire
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
