Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats and trends
- Develop and evaluate health policy frameworks aligned with SF's Health Equity Framework
- Coordinate interagency responses to public health emergencies
- Prepare legislative recommendations and impact assessments for Board of Supervisors
- Lead community engagement initiatives for underserved populations
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $2M annually
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in health equity policy development
- Valid California Driver's License
- PHRP certification preferred
- Experience with San Francisco's public health systems
