Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data and health trends to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in Dallas County
- Collaborate with state agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor federal/state policy changes and assess their impact on Texas communities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives on health equity and access to care
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong understanding of Texas public health systems and regulations
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Texas driver's license required for statewide travel
