Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data and trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop and evaluate health intervention programs for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with government agencies and community stakeholders on health initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for public health leadership and elected officials
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations
- Lead community health assessments and needs analysis
- Advocate for equitable health policies addressing social determinants
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in health policy analysis or government roles
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and GIS mapping
- Strong knowledge of CDC/Indiana State Health Department protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and program evaluation
- Valid Indiana driver's license and ability to travel within county
