Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and policy implications
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state legislators and agency leadership
- Collaborate with community partners to address health disparities and access barriers
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and legislative testimony documents
- Monitor implementation and evaluate effectiveness of public health initiatives

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, or STATA)
- Deep knowledge of Oregon's healthcare system and public health frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with health equity assessment and culturally responsive methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a government environment
- Valid Oregon driver's license (position may require local travel)
