Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform evidence-based health policies
- Develop and evaluate statewide public health intervention programs
- Coordinate with local health departments and community stakeholders
- Prepare legislative briefings and policy recommendations for state officials
- Monitor federal health regulations and ensure state compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams on public health emergency response initiatives
- Present findings to public health boards and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health policy or program evaluation
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Knowledge of NC public health systems and regulations
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and coalition building
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance
