Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies aligned with Denver's strategic goals
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and disparities
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to implement outreach programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and health department leadership
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Lead public health education campaigns targeting underserved populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or non-profit health policy
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of Colorado public health regulations and frameworks
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with policy writing experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Valid Colorado driver's license (required for field visits)
