Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and policy gaps
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for City Council and mayoral initiatives
- Coordinate with community stakeholders and health organizations for implementation
- Monitor compliance with federal/state health regulations and reporting requirements
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant-funded projects related to health equity initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years experience in health policy analysis or government research
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Deep knowledge of NYC's public health landscape and regulations
- Exceptional written communication for policy documents and reports
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Experience with health equity frameworks and community engagement
