Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive health policy frameworks aligned with CDC guidelines and Massachusetts state regulations
- Coordinate inter-agency partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and community organizations
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for County Commission and public stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Lead community outreach programs to address health disparities in underserved Boston neighborhoods
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health policy development or analysis
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of Massachusetts public health regulations and healthcare systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex data
- Proven experience collaborating with diverse community stakeholders
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
